A little about myself
My name is Debra A. Robinson, you can call me Debbie.
I have been married for 43 years to my childhood sweetheart, Glen. He opened his own mechanic business in 1999, Glen’s Auto Repair, Inc. He has been very instrumental in helping me open my dream business, DR Accounting Services, Inc.
I have worked in the accounting field over twenty five years. I prepared personal and small business income taxes as a side business while working as a practice administrator in the healthcare industry. I left the healthcare field in December 2010 to open DR Accounting Services, Inc.
My primary goal as a trusted advisor is to be available to provide insightful advice to enable my clients to make informed financial decisions. I do not accept anything less from myself and that is what I promise to deliver to you. My firm’s reputation reflects the high quality standards I demand of my self.
I feel it is extremely important to continually and professionally educate myself to improve my technical expertise, financial knowledge, and service to my clients. I am a Western Carolina University graduate and I am an Enrolled Agent. An enrolled agent is a person who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service by passing a three-part comprehensive IRS test covering individual and business tax returns. Enrolled agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this elite status must adhere to ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years.
Clients who choose my firm rely on competent advice and fast, accurate service. I provide accounting services to individuals, and the small business. I look forward to meeting and helping you with your individual accounting needs. Please feel free to call, email, or stop by at anytime.
